JASON A KIRCHER
Head Honcho - Spare Square Design
I've lived 39 years so far, most of them enjoyable. I am married with three beautiful children. We've had pets. There are a lot of things that I enjoy in the world; martial arts, computers, the outdoors and mountain biking, to name a few.
I was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I endure the cold, and bask in the heat. I've been involved with computers for most of my life. I first got involved with computers when my mother, a teacher at the time, brought home an old Commodore. I taught myself to use all of the dos commands, and put them to use (not for the better in some cases). You can only have so much fun formatting, and reformatting the c: drive, so naturally I eventually moved on to bigger and better things.
I'm currently finishing my Web Development/ Information Architecture program maintaining an A+ average. I've been through numerous Customer Service seminars, as well as technical broadband training. My best computer training however is the trial-and-error methods I would employ as a kid. You get the best results from trying something out to see the results.
I've always been good at taking things apart, and putting them back together, and websites are no different. I've worked many jobs; bicycle mechanic, broiler cook, shipper/ receiver, technical associate, assistant judo instructor, roofer and so on. By far, creating media projects and branding is my passion.
I created Spare Square Design so that I can apply my computer and design knowledge to something that improves the internet...the fact that I can work from home and hang out with my family is a bonus too. I wanted to give people the option to work with someone who is supremely dedicated to producing a great final product. I'm the guy that's up at 4:00am working on your website because something "doesn't look quite right". I put my heart into what I do, and it shows.
